Original description H. thorace sub scutello valde porrecto. Tête et corcelet d'un vert bleuâtre; jeux et antennes noirs. Corcelet très-prolongé sous l'écusson. Abdomen doré, troisième segment échancré. Pieds d'un vert bleuâtre; tarses pâles. Ailes à peine enfumées. Mâle. De Meudon.
Synonyms and subspecies Notozus frivaldszkyi Förster, 1853: 332. Syntypi, Hungary (Berlin).
Notozus longicornis Tournier, 1889: 185. Holotypus ♂, Switzerland (Mus.?)
