Original description ♀, ♂. Parva, 5 mill. long; confertim punctatissima, cyaneo-viridis segmentis 1 et 2 margine apicali (♂ 3-que ante seriem) fasciola viridi ornatis; serie apicali foveolis profundis; margine apicali bidentato; dentibus lateralibus robustis, spatio inter dentes arcuato leviter emarginato. Ventre viride-cyaneo. Pedibus, ♀ cyaneo-viridibus, ♂ viridi cyaneis. Alis hyalinis, nervis brunneis (Phl. IV Dahlbomi). Persia, mons Demavend.
Synonyms and subspecies pumila Lins.1987
Systematic notes With regards of pumila Klug, 1845 we agree with Linsenmaier (1959) but not with Linsenmaier (1987). About the confusion among the names of persica, pumila, pumilionis and disclusa please refer to Niehuis (2001) and Rosa (2006). Thus, the valid species are three:
- Chrysidea asensioi Mingo, 1985
- Chrysidea persica (Radoszkowski, 1881)
- Chrysidea pumila Klug, 1845.
