Original description [laodamia typ.] Semblable à la C. mediocris Dablb., dont elle n'est peut-être qu'une race, elle s'en distingue par sa taille bien plus petite, plus grêle, la ponctuation thoracique plus faible, le thorax bien-vif, l'abdomen d'un feu très brillant, les angles antérieurs du 1ersegment non tachés de vert, la marge du 3° segment concolore, très entière, régulièrement arrondie, le ventre bleu-vert vif, les tarses noirâtres avec le 1° article des postérieurs bleu en dessus.
♀ - Long. 5,5-6 mill.
Le mâle a les quatre premiers articles antennaires verts et les autres annelés de roussâtre, le 3° segment abdominal plus court, très entier également, et la marge apicale concolore, les tarses noirâtres.
Syrie: Brumana (F. D. Morice); Jérusalem (M. Pic).
