Original description H. supra coeruleum, subtus cyanea-viride, femoribus apice, tibiis, tarsis antennisque testaceis, harum articulo primo cyaneo; corpore toto punctato-coriaceo abdominis segmento tertio supra leviter carinato; alis apice infumatis.
Long. 2 2/3 lin. — Abdomen paulo longius quam in speciebus praecedentibus, segmento ultimo subtriangulari, apice obtuso, superne carinula obsoleta, a basi ad apicem usque producta, instructo. Hab. in campis orientalibus et in promontoriis Uralensibus.

Systematic notes Probably this species belongs to its own genus: Colpopyga Semenov, for the peculiar shape of the internal urites and of the female gaster.
