Original description Cyanea; capite antice et antennarum basi aureo-nitidis; alis subhyalinis; pedibus virescentibus; tibiis aureis; tarsis pallide fuscis; abdomine integro, tenuissime punctato, basi aureo, postice cupreo-nitidissimo.

Mas. - Long. 7 millim. - (Voyez notre Pl. LI, fig.5)
Descr. Tête et corselet médiocrement ponctués, garnis de poils blanchâtres sur les côtés et obscurs sur le sommet de la tête. Tout le devant de la tête, depuis le bord antérieur du chaperon jusque derrière les ocelles, doré et brillant; vertex d'un bleu foncé un peu violet; antennes noires, légèrement dorées dans leur première moitié, avec le premier article doré et brillant comme le front. Corselet de la même couleur que le vertex; angles portérieurs du mêtathorax avancés et pointus. Écaille des ailes d'un vert brillant; celles-ci presque transparentes, les supérieures un peu enfumées dans la radiale, avec les nervures brunes, et celles du disque plus pâles. Pattes d'un vert brillant sur les cuisses, et doré sur les jambes; tarses d'un brun pâle. Abdomen finement ponctué; son extrémité légèrement sinuée et échancrée au milieu; le premier segment doré d'un vert brillant au bord postérieur; le reste d'un cuivreux rougeâtre brillant. Ventre d'un vert doré, avec l'extrémité rouge et brillante. Mâle. Hab. A la même époque, et dans le même localités que le précédent.
