How many levels of gray can you see? If your monitor is calibrated correctly (contrast and brightness optimally adjusted), you should be able to see 16 levels of gray from the pure black to the pure white. If not, adjust your monitor’s contrast and brightness in order to increase the number of ‘grays’ that you are able to perceive.
